We are booked on a cruise to Alaska from San Diego ending in Vancouver. The ship itinerary before San Francisco is from Ft Lauderdale and through the Panama canal. It stops in San Diego before San Francisco.

We would like to board in San Diego and think that should be OK because we will not disembark in San Francisco.

Are we right?

I would urge you to immediately contact the Carrier and ask them. Each carrier has special rules. The rules should be printed on the back of your ticket but they will not answer your specific questions for this cruise. Good Luck!
